The work, titled Whispers, will be featured as part of the annual London Festival of Architecture (LFA), according to the Polish Cultural Institute in the British capital.
The unveiling of Whispers will mark the official launch of the design and architecture strand of the UK/Poland Season 2025 project.
Running throughout June, the LFA is a month-long celebration of architecture and urban design.
This year’s theme, Voices, highlights the diverse perspectives that shape how architecture is perceived and practiced, according to organisers.
Whispers, an inflated metallic installation, will be unveiled in London's Fleet Street Quarter on Thursday.
Zięta, known for exploring the formal properties of metal, creates sculptural forms that engage the senses, often challenge scale, and blur the line between reality and imagination.
His works are produced using an original method of metal forming that allows for extensive manipulation while preserving the authenticity and natural craftsmanship of the material.
Born in 1975, Zięta is an architect, artist, craftsman and process designer based in Wrocław, southwestern Poland.
He holds a PhD from Eidgenössische Technische Hochschule in Zurich and has exhibited works in institutions such as the Museum für Gestaltung in Zurich, the Pinakothek der Moderne in Munich, the Vitra Design Museum in Weil am Rhein, and the Centre Georges Pompidou in Paris.
Whispers, a metallic, air-inflated installation, will be unveiled on Thursday in London’s Fleet Street Quarter.
The piece employs Zięta's trademark FiDU (Freie Innendruck Umformung) technology, which transforms flat metal sheets into lightweight, three-dimensional forms using internal air pressure.
According to the Polish Cultural Institute, this method—already adopted by the automotive industry—is poised to redefine contemporary engineering in architecture and infrastructure, supporting the development of smart cities.
"Designing public and private spaces, as well as entire cities, would be meaningless without the voices that shape them," Zięta said. "These voices are numerous, often contradictory, and sometimes silent. Let architecture empower people to speak—whether in a firm voice or a whisper."
The broader LFA programme includes talks, tours, performances and installations across the city.
