The images of Yevhenii Ivanov and Oleksander Kononov - both wanted on warrants issued by the Mazovian branch of the National Prosecutor’s Office - were released on Friday by the Warsaw Metropolitan Police.

Investigators say the men are suspected of espionage and terrorism-related offences and fled to Belarus after preparing the sabotage operation.

Prosecutors are now preparing an application for a European Arrest Warrant.

Police are asking anyone with information on the suspects’ whereabouts to call the emergency number 112 or contact the nearest police station.

Additional dedicated phone lines are available during specified hours, listed on the Warsaw police website.
