Tomasz Siemoniak, the minister in charge of Poland's security services, said the suspects, aged between 48 and 62, were arrested on orders from a regional branch of the National Public Prosecutor's Office in northeastern Poland.
According to the ABW, investigators gathered evidence indicating that the suspects were actively involved in raising funds to purchase equipment for Russian military forces and in promoting propaganda supporting Russia's war against Ukraine.
The agency said the men, acting on instructions from an identified Russian citizen linked to Russia's Federal Security Service (FSB), also carried out intelligence-related activities, including reconnaissance of NATO troop deployments in Poland.
The suspects were allegedly being prepared for diversionary and sabotage operations through firearms and battlefield tactics training, the ABW said.
Poland's National Public Prosecutor’s Office said the men had been charged with acting on behalf of a foreign intelligence service and providing information that could harm the Polish state.
They also face charges of producing and distributing propaganda and disinformation materials, preparing sabotage activities, publicly endorsing aggressive war and promoting symbols supporting Russia's aggression against Ukraine.
If convicted, they could face prison sentences ranging from eight years to life imprisonment.
Prosecutors said the suspects denied the charges during questioning and provided explanations to investigators.
A district court in the northeastern city of Białystok ordered all three suspects held in pre-trial detention for three months pending further investigation.
