Several major airlines cancelled or delayed services amid growing safety concerns.
"Due to the international situation in the Middle East, Polish President Andrzej Duda's return flight from his official visit to Singapore was delayed due to the need to change the route," his office said in a post on X.
Israel’s national carrier El Al said it had moved its aircraft out of the country as a precaution, the Reuters news agency reported.
Low-cost airline Israir also evacuated planes from Ben Gurion Airport near Tel Aviv, which was closed until further notice, reports said.
Airlines including Lufthansa, Aeroflot and Qatar Airways announced the suspension of routes across parts of the Middle East.
Some carriers had already altered their flight schedules in recent weeks, after a missile launched in May by Yemen’s Houthi rebels landed near Tel Aviv.
The latest disruption came as Israel confirmed it had launched strikes inside Iran early on Friday morning.
Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said the operation, dubbed Rising Lion, targeted Iran’s nuclear programme, which he described as a threat to "Israel’s very survival."
Iranian state media reported explosions in multiple locations, including at a key uranium enrichment facility in Natanz and a military site in Parchin, believed by Western analysts to be involved in nuclear weapons research.
By late morning, Israeli forces said they had intercepted several Iranian drones, amid fears of a broader escalation.
