According to Forum Akademickie, a nationwide Polish monthly journal, she has also served on the board of the Polish Polar Consortium for ten years and is a member of the Polish Polar Research Committee.
Trained as a lawyer and manager, Kruszewska has contributed to the development of Polish polar research and helped compile a list of 100 women in polar science created by the Women in Polar Science and Support network.
Kruszewska highlighted the challenges of Antarctic logistics, saying her new role will allow Poland to expand its influence in international scientific cooperation and polar logistics.
COMNAP (Council of Managers of National Antarctic Programs) coordinates logistics and research support across Antarctica, involving 34 countries. Poland, as a signatory of the Antarctic Treaty, is among 29 nations with full decision-making rights over human activities on the continent.
