The U.S. Embassy in Warsaw congratulated Ambassador-designate Rose, whose nomination was confirmed by the U.S. Senate last week.

The U.S. mission in Warsaw said he is “preparing to represent President Donald Trump in strengthening the U.S.–Poland alliance with one of our closest and most trusted partners.”

President Donald Trump nominated Tom Rose as U.S. Ambassador to Poland in February, and his appointment was approved by the Senate Foreign Relations Committee in September without Democratic support.

Rose, a conservative broadcaster and former adviser to Vice President Mike Pence, is known for his staunchly pro-Israel views and long career in journalism, including his tenure as editor-in-chief of The Jerusalem Post.

During his Senate hearing, he praised Poland as a model ally and pledged to strengthen ties among Poland, Israel, and the United States while maintaining neutrality toward Poland’s domestic politics.
