In late September, Poland's defence ministry said the visit, originally planned for September 23, would take place at a later date following an urgent request from Washington.
The Pentagon told Polish state news agency PAP that the meeting had been cancelled because of a scheduling conflict and would be rescheduled. Chinese leader Xi Jinping was visiting the United States at the time.
Sobkowiak-Czarnecka said she had a "very good" conversation on Thursday with Michael Duffey, Under Secretary of Defence for Acquisition and Sustainment, who is due to visit Poland soon. They discussed plans for the coming weeks.
She added that many decisions concerning Poland were currently on the table at the White House and Pentagon, and that they would gradually become clearer.
Kosiniak-Kamysz previously said his talks with his US counterpart Pete Hegseth would cover Polish security and discussions about the location of a maintenance centre for PAC-3 missiles used by Patriot air defence systems in Poland.
