Henryk Kowalczyk, who is also Poland’s agriculture minister, officially opened the Polish national stand at the fair, state news agency PAP reported.

More than 20 Polish businesses are showcasing their agri-food products during the International Green Week, officials said.

“The stalls will give the audience a taste of Poland. Every day there will be tastings and culinary shows featuring renowned Polish chefs,” the Polish Tourism Organisation (POT) said in a statement.

On the sidelines of the International Green Week, agriculture ministers from various countries, including Poland’s Kowalczyk, are set to gather for a summit meeting, the PAP news agency reported.

The Berlin agri-food fair returns in full form after a two-year break due to the COVID-19 pandemic, according to officials.

The International Green Week trade fair runs in Berlin until January 29.
