BALANCE Wizzair expands in Warsaw

Hungarian budget airline Wizz Air announced this week that it will add a new aircraft to its Warsaw fleet to increase the frequency of flights on 13 routes from Chopin Airport, and launch a new connection from there.

Wizz Air, which launched operations in Warsaw in August 2004, currently offers 173 routes to 27 countries from 10 airports in Poland, including 57 routes from Warsaw's Chopin Airport. BALANCE talks to Evelin Jeckel, Network Officer at Wizz Air to find out more about the airline's business strategy for 2023.
