The figure came in worse than expected by analysts, who had forecast a 1.4-percent increase in Polish industrial production last month, state news agency PAP reported.
In month-on-month terms, Polish industrial production in June was 1.1 percent lower than in May, the Statistics Poland (GUS) agency said.
Meanwhile, the country's seasonally-adjusted industrial production inched up by 0.1 percent in year-on-year terms in June, while falling 0.5 percent month on month, according to the state-run statistics office.
According to the European Union's Eurostat statistics agency, which uses a different methodology, Poland's seasonally-adjusted industrial production rose 2.3 percent in May compared with the same month in 2024.
