Polish wages up y/y in Q3 2025: stats office

The average monthly wage in Poland in the third quarter of this year rose by 7.5 percent compared with the same quarter of 2024, the country’s statistics office reported on Friday.

The average gross monthly wage in the third quarter of 2025 was PLN 8,771.70 (EUR 2,065, USD 2,385), the Statistics Poland (GUS) agency said.

This amount marked a 0.3 percent increase over the second quarter of the year, according to the office.

The state-run statistics agency reported last month that average wages in Poland's corporate sector in September increased by 7.5 percent compared with the same month a year earlier.

Meanwhile, inflation in Poland stood at 2.8 percent in year-on-year terms in October, according to a flash estimate released by Statistics Poland at the end of last month.

Poland's government in September approved a proposal to increase the country’s minimum wage by 3 percent to PLN 4,806 a month from January next year.

At the moment, the minimum monthly wage in Poland stands at PLN 4,666.
