The reading was in line with an earlier estimate by the labour ministry.
There were around 949,800 people without jobs across the nation at the end of March, down from 954,900 a month earlier, according to the state-run Statistics Poland (GUS) agency.
The statistics office reported earlier this week that employment in Polish companies edged down by 0.1 percent in March on average in year-on-year terms.
According to the European Union's Eurostat statistics agency, which uses a different methodology, unemployment in Poland had stood at 3.2 percent in February, marking the lowest rate in the 27-nation bloc, alongside Bulgaria and the Czech Republic.
