Sales of clothing and shoes went up by 11.8 percent, and those of furniture, household appliances and consumer electronics rose 10.2 percent, the state-run Statistics Poland (GUS) agency said.
Sales of pharmaceuticals and cosmetics grew 5.8 percent, while those of food, beverages and tobacco fell 1 percent, according to Statistics Poland.
In terms of current prices, retail sales last month were 2.1 percent higher than in June 2024, Statistics Poland said.
In month-on-month terms, retail sales in June were 1.8 percent lower than in May, the statistics office also reported.
