"Industrial production increased by 3.2 percent in October, exceeding analysts’ forecasts of 2.4 percent," Finance and Economy Minister Andrzej Domański wrote on X.
He added that capital goods "again posted the biggest growth," at 9.2 percent.
Domański said the construction sector also showed signs of recovery, with output up 4.1 percent year on year.
"We are moving forward," he wrote.
Poland’s statistics office reported on Monday that industrial production last month was 3.2 percent higher than in October 2024, well above a consensus forecast of 1.8 percent from analysts polled by state news agency PAP.
In month-on-month terms, Polish industrial production in October was 3.6 percent higher than in September, the Statistics Poland (GUS) agency also said.
Meanwhile, the country's seasonally-adjusted industrial production increased by 1.1 percent in year-on-year terms in October, while falling 1 percent month on month, according to Statistics Poland.
