The year-round service will begin October 26, 2026, with five flights a week, the airline said.
Departures from Warsaw are scheduled for Mondays, Wednesdays, Thursdays, Saturdays and Sundays, public broadcaster Polish Radio’s IAR news agency reported.
Winter flight times are expected to be about 10 hours and 20 minutes from Warsaw to Bangkok and nearly 12 hours on the return journey.
LOT said the new route is aimed at both leisure and business travellers.
Thailand has long been a popular destination for Polish tourists, while Bangkok also serves as a major regional hub for Southeast Asia.
"Long-haul connections are one of the key pillars of LOT’s development strategy," said Robert Ludera, a member of the airline's management board.
He said the Bangkok route would strengthen the carrier’s global network and offer passengers a competitive, nonstop option to a major Asian gateway.
LOT currently operates long-distance flights to Japan and South Korea. The airline recently announced plans to launch a direct route from Warsaw to San Francisco in the United States as part of an expansion drive.
San Francisco will become LOT's sixth destination in the United States, alongside New York, Chicago, Newark, Miami and Los Angeles.
Founded in 1929, LOT is one of the world's oldest airlines. It offers long-haul flights to destinations in the United States, Canada, India, Japan and South Korea, as well as direct connections to many European capitals.
The carrier transported 10.7 million passengers last year.
