Polands recruitment market in 2026 is expected to remain uncertain despite widespread hiring and planned pay rises, while skills shortages alongside digital transformation reshape demand, according to the Hays 2026 Salary Report.

“On the one hand, we observe companies that, due to skills shortages, are planning recruitment and single-digit salary increases. On the other hand, there are signs of persistent uncertainty in the business environment,” the researchers explain.

“Dynamic digital transformation is both an opportunity and a challenge for employers and specialists, as it is already changing the demand for skills,” they add.

“2026 will be a good time to create a skills map within the organization, identify critical shortages, and plan an effective hiring strategy,” the specialists predict.

According to them, 84% of companies plan to recruit in 2026 and 74% of employers intend to introduce pay rises.

The analysis prepared by them covers over 500 positions across various industries in Poland and was developed based on recruitment projects carried out by Hays Poland experts in 2025.
