The Government Safety Centre advised people to limit their exposure to the sun, not to leave home unnecessarily and to cover windows during the day.
It also warned people against drinking alcohol, which causes dehydration. Children and pets should not be left in cars, it added.
Poland's Institute of Meteorology and Water Management has warned that a heatwave will hit 12 provinces across the country.
