Investigators have not ruled out that the unmanned device may have fallen onto the field after hitting a power line. Three nearby lines showing fresh damage have been secured, and soil from the explosion site has been collected for analysis of explosive materials.

The ongoing inspection involves around 150 personnel from various agencies, including police, military gendarmerie, firefighters, and Territorial Defence Forces, as well as six prosecutors.

The village where the incident occured is located in the eastern Lublin province, just over 100 km (62 miles) from the Ukrainian border and around 90 km from Belarus.
