Pole among scientists who detected potential sign of life on Venus
The atmosphere of Venus contains a gas that on Earth can be attributed to living organisms, a discovery has been hailed as "the most significant development yet" in the hunt for extra-terrestrial life.

NASA on Monday announced the discovery of phosphine in the atmosphere of Venus, a gas which might come from a living organism.
Among the team of international scientists which may have detected life on Venus is a Pole, Janusz Pętkowski.
