Julia and Antoni: most popular baby names in Poland in 2020

Julia was the most popular name given to baby girls in Poland last year, while Antoni was the top choice for boys, officials have said.

Julia has edged out Zuzanna as the most popular name given to baby girls in Poland. Meanwhile, Antoni remains the top pick for boys.

Next on the 2020 list for girls were Zuzanna and Zofia, while Jan and Jakub made up the rest of the top three for boys, according to Poland’s Ministry for Digital Affairs.

Other girl names popular in Poland in 2020 included Hanna, Maja and Lena, while Aleksander, Franciszek and Szymon were among popular picks for boys.

In 2019, Zuzanna was the No. 1 name for girls, while Julia was runner-up.

The top three for boys was the same in both years.
