Poland plans to reopen schools for young children on Monday, with children in grades 1 to 3 of elementary education returning to on-site learning.
But Education Minister Przemysław Czarnek said on Thursday that older children would have to continue attending classes online as the epidemic persists.
He added that the new hotline was one way the government was supporting distance learning.
Poland on Monday began testing teachers for COVID-19 ahead of the return to normal classes for the youngest pupils.
Czarnek said that around 80,000 teachers had been tested as of Wednesday, with some 2 percent of them found to be infected with the coronavirus.
Schools and universities throughout the country switched to distance learning last year. A two-week school winter break started across Poland on January 4. It runs until January 17.
Teachers are among priority groups for COVID-19 vaccination as the country rolls out its inoculation effort. Frontline healthcare workers are first in line for the shots.
Poland on Thursday reported 9,436 new coronavirus infections and 381 more deaths, bringing its total number of cases to 1,414,362 and fatalities to 32,456.
