The stereotype prevails that Polish is one of the world's most difficult languages in the world, that is why there are so few people who undertake the task of learning it.

The Centre of Polish Language and Culture for Foreigners “Polonicum” at the Faculty of Polish Studies of the University of Warsaw, carries out scientific research, educates teachers of Polish as a foreign language.

PhD Justyna Zych ,deputy director of the Polonicum Center, underlines that the center is successfully doing away with the cliche of Polish being a tough language to learn.
