Warsaw to host new film festival

The first edition of the Timeless Film Festival is to be launched on Monday in Warsaw, with 130 movies, 80 shorts and several film scores concerts over 8 days.

The festival’s organisers stressed that the event focuses on classical movies and timeless productions.

“There are many hidden gems, or timeless movies worth revisiting,” the organisers said, adding that digital reconstruction process allows for many forgotten films to be brought back to cinemas.

The festival is to showcase works by directors from 31 countries, including Poland, Great Britain, Italy, France and Japan.

It is to last until April 15
