Warsaw is emerging as one of Europe's most wooded capitals, city officials say.

Last year alone, around 100,000 new trees were planted in the Polish capital.

Thanks to these efforts, the city has risen to become one of the three most forested capitals in Europe, according to Magdalena Młochowska, a Warsaw City Hall official in charge of green spaces.
