On Saturday, demonstrators at the University of Warsaw occupied Autonomia Park near the campus. The students are demanding that the university authorities condemn Israel's attack on the Gaza Strip and the occupation of Palestine. They also want the university to sever cooperation with Israeli academic institutions, organizations, and companies, and boycott them until the conflict ends. Additionally, they are asking for information about which similar entities the University of Warsaw currently cooperates with.

Similar demands were made by students of the Jagiellonian University in Kraków, southern Poland. They are occupying a room in the Collegium Broscianum building. Participants of the picket in the country's oldest city noted that their actions were part of the global student intifada, which had previously been organized in American academic cities and other European cities.
