National Animal Rights Day (NARD) is a global initiative that aims to raise awareness about the exploitation and killing of animals for human benefit, and promote a plant-based lifestyle.

The Wrocław event, scheduled to begin at noon in the city's Południowy Park, will feature speeches by animal rights advocates, as well as artistic and educational activities.

A central focus of the gathering is to encourage compassion and greater public understanding of animal rights issues.

Children and families can participate in the “Academy of Friends of All Animals,” a program offering an empathy-based education, micro-lectures, and hands-on workshops.

The event is free and open to all.

NARD is observed annually in multiple cities worldwide on the same day.
