“We are especially keen to welcome tourists from Croatia, Slovenia, Austria and the Czech Republic,” said Deputy Sports and Tourism Minister Piotr Borys during a press briefing.
The politician noted that over half a million Czechs visited Poland last year, many choosing holidays on the Baltic Sea. “Paradoxically, climate change is working in our favour,” he added.
Further details on timetables and ticket prices are to be announced by Polish rail operators in the coming weeks.
