According to the local daily Dziennik Zachodni, intense downpours on Monday, 2 June, led to localized flooding in the city of Racibórz, in the Silesian Voivodeship.

Firefighters were called out hundreds of times across the area, mainly in the afternoon and overnight from 2 to 3 June. In total, 379 storm-related incidents involving strong winds and heavy rain were reported.

Most emergency responses were concentrated in the south, with 179 interventions in Silesia, 55 near Kraków, and 46 in the southeastern region of Podkarpacie, according to the State Fire Service.
