The overall pass rate was 87%. Among general high school (liceum) graduates, 90.7% passed, compared with 79.8% of technical school (technikum) graduates.
Among the written compulsory exams, 95.3% passed Polish, 88.9% mathematics, and 95.5% English, the most commonly chosen foreign language.
For oral language exams, the passing rates were 99.1% for oral Polish and 98.8% for oral English.
Among the other modern foreign languages exams, French had the highest written pass rate at 97.9%, followed by Spanish at 96.8%. Russian had the lowest pass rate at 92.3%, while German stood at 93%.
Overall, 322,859 graduates took all compulsory matura exams during both May and June sessions and 33,979 during the August resits.
The passing mark for the compulsory oral and written basic-level exams was 30%. For voluntary advanced-level subjects there was no minimum passing threshold.
Students are required to attempt at least one written advanced-level subject exam, but they can choose up to five.
The passing rate from the May session only was 81.1%, with another 12.3% of students eligible for a resit after failing one subject. Graduates that failed more than one subject can attempt a resit next year.
In September 2025, the final pass rate reported by CKE was 86.1%.
