Respondents to the survey, commissioned by the Dziennik Gazeta Prawna newspaper, could choose multiple options, with 23.6 percent citing "time with loved ones" as their New Year’s resolution, the state PAP news reported.
For 22 percent of those asked, a more active lifestyle was a goal for the new year.
More than a fifth of respondents, 21 percent, said they planned to save more money in 2022.
Finding more time for reading books and attending cinemas and concerts was further on the list, followed by going on a diet, Dziennik Gazeta Prawna reported on Thursday.
At the same time, 25 percent of Poles do not plan to make any resolutions for 2022, according to the poll.
Among young people, saving money is an objective for 46 percent of respondents, the survey found, while switching to a more active lifestyle and embarking on a diet are popular commitments among all age groups, according to the gazetaprawna.pl website.
The study was conducted on December 17 by the pollsters United Surveys for Dziennik Gazeta Prawna and the RMF FM radio station as well as the dziennik.pl and rmf24.pl websites.
It was carried out on a nationwide sample of 1,000 adult residents of Poland through computer-assisted telephone interviewing (CATI), the PAP news agency reported.
