Dobrzyński confirmed that the Military Counterintelligence Service had gathered extensive evidence regarding the detained man and had monitored his activities for a long period of time.

Investigators have charged him with cooperation with a foreign intelligence service and are currently carrying out procedural activities involving the suspect.

Information collected by the services indicates that he betrayed Poland by spying for a foreign intelligence service.

The suspect is an employee of the Ministry of National Defence, where he worked for several decades.

According to unofficial findings, he was employed in the Ministry’s Department of Strategy and Defence Planning.

It cannot be ruled out that further arrests may follow in connection with the case.
