Poles clinch four silvers at canoeing world championships in Hungary

Polish athletes have scored four silver medals at the ongoing Canoe Sprint and Paracanoe World Championships in Szeged, Hungary.

During Saturday's finals Marta Walczykiewicz became a canoeing world vice-champion in the K1 competition at a distance of 200 meters, winning an Olympic qualification.

Justyna Iskrzycka won the world vice-champion title in the non-Olympic competition K1 1000 meters.

Polish duo, Karolina Naja and Anna Puławska, also won silver medals in the K2 500 meters competition and qualified for the Olympics.

Polish tandem, Michał Łubniewski and Arsen Śliwiński, claimed the vice-championship title in C2 200 m on Friday.

The last finals are held on Sunday.
