Earlier in the championships, Poland’s Anhelina Łysak won the silver in the women’s 55 kg, while countrywoman Katarzyna Mądrowska took the bronze in the 62 kg. Aleksandra Wólczyńska added another bronze in the women's 65 kg on Friday.

On Thursday, Poland’s Roksana Zasina won the silver in the women’s 55 kg, while countrywoman Anna Łukasiak took the bronze in the 50 kg.
On Wednesday, Poland's Eduard Grigoriew grabbed the bronze in the men's 61 kg freestyle.
A day earlier, Krzysztof Bieńkowski claimed the silver for Poland in the men's 65 kg freestyle, while countryman Radosław Baran took the bronze in the 97 kg freestyle.
About 400 wrestlers from 39 countries, both men and women, competed for medals at the 2021 European Wrestling Championships, which were held in the Polish capital from April 19 to 25.
