The Polish goal machine, who plays for Germany’s Bayern Munich club, on Saturday ended the Bundesliga season on a record 41 goals, 13 more than runner-up André Silva of the Eintracht Frankfurt side.
The Polish forward topped the league chart in the 2019/2020 season with 34 goals for Bayern, and he also earned the Bundesliga golden boot in 2019 with 22 goals, in 2018 with 29 goals, and in 2016 with 30 strikes for Bayern.
In 2014, Lewandowski became the Bundesliga top scorer with 20 goals for his previous side Borussia Dortmund.
Lewandowski’s Bayern on Saturday routed Augsburg 5-2 on the final match day, and came top of the Bundesliga overall for the ninth straight time, beating runner-up RB Leipzig by 13 points.
The Poland international in mid-March became the Bundesliga's second-highest scorer in history.
The Pole is also poised to be named the top scorer in Europe's biggest football leagues this season.
He now has 53 goals in 46 games for club and country heading into Euro 2020.
Lewandowski in December won FIFA’s 2020 Best Men’s Player award, beating Portugal's Cristiano Ronaldo and Argentina’s Lionel Messi.
The Poland captain was also named Player of the Year at the Globe Soccer Awards in Dubai at the end of last year.
The awards capped off a remarkable year for the Polish marksman, who scored 47 goals in 44 games for his club and country in 2020.
