The 24-year-old Pole, ranked world No. 10 by the Association of Tennis Professionals (ATP), beat Australian James Duckworth 6-2, 6-7, 7-5 in their men's singles quarterfinal in the French capital on Friday afternoon.
Hurkacz will now face Serbia's world No. 1 Novak Djokovic for a place in the final.
Later this month, the Polish player will join Djokovic, Russia's Daniil Medvedev and Andrey Rublev, Greece's Stefanos Tsitsipas, Germany's Alexander Zverev, Italy's Matteo Berrettini and Norway's Casper Ruud at the season-ending ATP Finals, which will be held in Turin, Italy from November 14 to 21.
Hurkacz in September won his fourth ATP singles title by beating Spain's Pablo Carreno-Busta in the final of the Moselle Open tennis tournament in the French city of Metz.
The Polish player in April won the men's singles at the Miami Open, a major US tournament sometimes referred to as "the fifth Grand Slam."
