Poland's manager, Czesław Michniewicz, has emphasized at a press conference today at FIFA's media centre that Wednesday's match is not only Lewandowski versus Messi but Poland v Argentina.
Although Poland only needs a draw to make it through to the last 16, Michniewicz stressed that "playing for 0-0" is a risky strategy: "Argentina can score at any time."
Commentators are generally agreed that Brazil and Argentina are the favourites to win the World Cup 2022. They have pointed out that Brazil has played 30 matches in the last two years and has only lost twice, both times 0-1, and both times to Argentina.
