Athletics: Two medals for Poland in Glasgow

Poland won two medals, a silver and a bronze, at the 2024 World Athletics Indoor Championships, which ended in Glasgow on Sunday.

Sprinter Ewa Swoboda earned a silver for Poland in the women's 60 metres, while Pia Skrzyszowska took the bronze in the women’s 60m hurdles.

More than 650 athletes, including 24 Poles, competed for medals at the global championships, which were held in Glasgow from March 1 to 3.

Team Poland's medal tally matches that of the 2022 World Athletics Indoor Championships in Belgrade, where they also secured a silver and a bronze.
