Australia’s Nicola Olyslagers claimed gold after also clearing 2.00, prevailing on countback as Żodzik registered an earlier failure at 1.88.

Serbia’s Angelina Topic and Ukraine’s world record-holder Yaroslava Mahuchikh shared bronze with 1.97.

The rain-hit competition was interrupted several times due to heavy downpours and delivered Poland’s first medal of this year’s championships.
