Lech Poznań defeated Rapid Vienna 4-1, Jagiellonia Białystok edged Malta’s Hamrun Spartans 1-0, and Raków Częstochowa beat Romania’s Universitatea Craiova 2-0.
Legia, however, fell 0-1 to Turkey’s Samsunspor in Warsaw.
In Poznań, Lech’s goals came from Honduran Luis Palma, Swedes Mikael Ishak and Leo Bengtsson and Nigeria’s Taofeek Ismaheel.
Coach Niels Frederiksen called it his team’s best performance of the season.
In Białystok, Spaniard Jesus Imaz scored the winner for Jagiellonia. The Polish side twice had goals overturned by VAR, while Hamrun played the final half-hour with 10 men after a red card.
Raków, playing its home fixture in nearby Sosnowiec, broke through early in the second half with a strike from Tomasz Pieńko, before Oskar Repka sealed the win in the 80th minute. Craiova had gone down to 10 players shortly after conceding the first goal.
In Warsaw, Samsunspor scored in the 10th minute after a defensive lapse. Legia dominated possession in the second half but failed to finish chances.
Coach Edward Iordanescu surprised many by making sweeping changes to his lineup compared to the team’s weekend league win.
The Conference League is European football's governing body UEFA’s third-tier competition but offers valuable coefficient points.
Thanks in part to Legia and Jagiellonia reaching last season’s quarterfinals, Poland will field five clubs in European competitions in the 2026/2027 season, including two in Champions League qualifying.
This season's Conference League final is scheduled for May 27, 2026 in Leipzig, Germany.
