Domżała and Marton are now leading the race in their category, ahead of Austin Jones of the US and Brasil’s Gustavo Gugelmin.

Another Polish team of Michał Goczał and Szymon Gospodarczyk is ranked fourth.

Last year’s overall runner-up Qatar's Nasser Al-Attiyah is leading the race, after winning both the prologue and Sunday’s stage, marking a strong start to his bid for a fourth victory in the event.

Poland’s Jakub Przygoński and his German pilot Timo Gottschalk are currently in the ninth position, losing over 40 minutes to the leader.
