Cycling: Poland’s Lach second in Classic Lorient Agglomeration

Polish cyclist Marta Lach finished second in the Classic Lorient Agglomeration race in the French city of Plouay on Saturday.

Team SD Worx’ Mischa Bredewold of the Netherlands won the 160 kilometres long 22nd edition of the race after an uphill finish from a group of over 30 riders.

Poland’s Lach beat Italia’s Sofia Bertizzolo of UWA Team ADQ, who finished third.

Meanwhile, another Poles Karolina Kumięga was ranked 53rd coming in over three minutes behind the leading group.

The Classic Lorient Agglomeration, previously known as the GP de Plouay, was first organised in 2002.
