Volleyball: Poland's Jastrzębski Węgiel claim fourth win in Champions League

Polish men's volleyball champions Jastrzębski Węgiel have won their fourth straight match in the 2023/24 Champions League, beating Ceske Budejovice of the Czech Republic 3-1.

The Polish team won 21:25, 25:17, 25:17, 25:17 at home in the southern city of Jastrzębie-Zdrój on Wednesday night, the interia.pl website reported.

The victory over Ceske Budejovice means Jastrzębski Węgiel have now won four out of four games in the 2023/24 Champions League, sport.pl reported.

The Polish champions top the competition's group D.

By the end of the day JASTRZEBSKI Wegiel and PIACENZA secured victories in their Pools.

Jastrzębski Węgiel reached the final of the 2022/23 Champions League, where they lost 3-2 to Zaksa Kędzierzyn Koźle in an all-Polish final in Turin in May.
