Home favourite Mikołaj Marczyk came in second, and Ireland's Jon Armostrong finished third in the annual rally, which was held for the 81st time.

Seventy international crews took part in the event, which doubled as the fourth round of the European Rally Championship series, Polish state news agency PAP reported.

Sesks previously won the Polish rally in 2023.

Poland's Marczyk, who won the 2022 Rally Poland, leads the European Rally Championship after its Polish leg, ahead of Norway's Mads Østberg.

The next round of the European Rally Championship series--Rally di Roma Capitale--will take place in Italy from July 4 to 6.
