Film tells story of Warsaw fighter

Poland is this week commemorating the 75th anniversary of the Warsaw Uprising, which began on August 1, 1944 and lasted 63 days before it was quashed by better equipped and more numerous German forces.

To mark the anniversary, the National Centre for Culture is launching free shows in Warsaw, Gdańsk and Wrocław of a film in virtual reality that follows the story of one of the insurgents.
