German violinist shares memories of Polish composer

German violin virtuoso Anne Sophie Mutter was for many years a close friend of Krzysztof Penderecki, the renowned Polish composer who died on March 29.

Penderecki wrote several compositions for Mutter, and the two also toured the world together some years ago.

Klaudiusz Madeja spoke to the German violinist, who shared some of her reflections and memories of the eminent composer.
