The game is called “Liberated” and has been created by independent Warsaw game studio Atomic Wolf.
It features hand-drawn interactive art stylized in the manner of graphic novels. The game is intended to make players feel as if they are inside such a novel, according to public broadcaster Polish Radio.
The storyline is an Orwellian vision of a dystopian future in which democracy slips into authoritarianism, and every citizen is subject to full control by the state.
A version of the game for the Nintendo Switch platform premiered on June 2. It is due to premiere on PC in July.
