The annual Catholic Publishers Trade Show promises to feature more than 10,000 books and 140 exhibitors from Poland and beyond as it enters its 27th year.

The annual fair includes events such as meetings with writers, film screenings and panel discussions, in addition to book launches.

About 93 percent of Poles declare themselves to be Catholics, according to statistics released by church officials several years ago.

Public broadcaster Polish Radio is a media partner of the trade show, which runs until Sunday at Warsaw's Royal Castle.
