Nominations out for Fryderyki Awards - the "Polish Grammys"

The Polish Phonographic Academy has announced the nominations for this year's Fryderyk Awards.

On 22 April 2023 will be held the 29th Fryderyk Awards - the most prestigious Polish music awards. The nominations have been announced during the last two days.

The multitude of awards is divided into three main sections - classical music, popular music and jazz.

The most nominations have gone to the band "Rubens", with 7 nominations in total. The popular singer-songwriter Dawid Posiadło is second with 6 nominations. 5 nominations each have gone to singer-songwriters sanah and Mrozu.

In the classical music section, the nominees include Krystian Zimerman, Jakub Józef Orliński, Łukasz Borowicz, Aleksandra Kurzak, the Polish chamber choir Camerata Silesia and the chamber orchestra from Tychy - AUKSO.
