For the twentieth time, bakers, folk artists, and folklore groups will come to the capital on Saturday, September 30th. A number of master bakers will be present, as well as musical bands, including a singing group that will perform harvest songs and, of course, those about bread as it is the theme of the festival, according to the National Institute of Rural Culture and Heritage.

Certified baked goods from all around Poland will be on display. The Rural Housewives' Circle will offer butter-making workshops in the capital, allowing visitors to churn their own butter and enjoy it on traditional bread., Elżbieta Osińska-Kassa from the institute has noted.

Moreover, learning the secrets of old folk crafts, including flat embroidery and Łowicz cutting is on the festival’s agenda. Folk musicians will play throughout the day, including the Karniewiacy band and the Godziszowianki band.

Warsaw Bread Festival starts at 1 p.m. and lasts until 7 p.m. at the headquarters of the National Institute of Rural Culture and Heritage and in front of its headquarters at Krakowskie Przedmieście 66.
