The broadcaster said that its "New Year's Eve with TVP 2" bash would feature a long lineup of performers led by pop singers Maryla Rodowicz and Edyta Górniak.
Other acts billed include Roxie Węgiel, Blanka and Daria Marx, Polish state news agency PAP reported.
TVP executives have said that Zakopane, Poland’s premier mountain and ski resort, is a special place for people to have fun and ring in the new year.
Last year, a crowd estimated at 65,000 partied in Zakopane to music by Polish and international performers, with the festivities watched by some 8 million TVP viewers on their television screens, according to reports at the time.
